The Cape Ann Museum is proud to present five festivals a year celebrating the breadth and depth of art, history, and culture on Cape Ann.
- Gloucester's So Salty: Celebrate the fish city’s recognizably salty character with local cultural institutions and businesses during the annual ice sculpture festival that spreads across Downtown Gloucester.
- Next Date: Saturday, January 20 and Sunday, January 21, 2024. Free and open to the public.
- Cape Ann Blossoms: Visit the Museum for a taste of spring the first weekend in May. Unique floral arrangements from area designers are paired witih artwork throughout the galleries.
- Next Date: Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, 2024. Free with Museum admission.
- Gloucester Juneteenth Celebration and Festival: Celebrate Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States!
- Next Date: Sunday, June 16, 2024. Free and open to the public.
- Indigenous Heritage Day: Celebrate the culture and traditions of the original stewards of this land with interactive song, dance, and activities from regional Tribal Nations.
- Next Date: Saturday, July 20, 2024. Free and open to the public.
- Brazilian Independence Day Festival: The Cape Ann Museum and Action Inc. partner with local Brazilian community members to share Brazilian food, culture, music, and dance in Downtown Gloucester in honor of Independence Day of Brazil, or Sete de Setembro.
