CAM Studio Courses & Workshops
Redesigned in 2021, the CAM Studio provides a space in the Museum for visitors of all ages to take a break and create. Grab a seat at one of the art tables or find a book in our children’s library.
Open Studio
The studio is open during museum hours as a drop-in art space. Adults and children are welcomed to use materials for self-directed art making.
Second Saturdays
On the second Saturday of each month, the CAM Studio hosts a story time and creates an art project inspired by the current exhibitions in the museum.
Second Saturdays are free for all Cape Ann residents and center around engaging the youngest of our visitors.
CAM Studio Courses
Adult art courses and workshops are held in the studio by local artists. Oil painting, still life drawing, and bookbinding are among the variety of mediums explored in these classes. To celebrate Earth Day 2023, local artist Sinikka Nogelo will be leading a Trash Art Workshop at the CAM Green in which a collective sculpture will be created.
