The Cape Ann Museum offers free activities year round to kids, their families and caregivers including hands-on activities to bring exhibits to life, scavenger hungs, actvities in the CAM Studio and programs over school vacation. Gallery Activities
Every day find hands-on activities in the galleries. From scavenger hunts to interactive activities there is always something fun for kids to do!
Cassie Scavenger Hunt New Each Season Pick up your copy and go on a scavenger hunt throughout the Museum with Cape Ann's favorite sea serpent, Cassie.
The CAM Studio
Visit the CAM Studio, open to the public during regular Museum hours, for self guided art activities, art boxes, puzzles, books and more. Come look through the Museum and then stay to make something.
Second Saturdays
The second saturday of every month Museum admission is free to all Cape Ann residents. Join us in the CAM Studio for a guided activity for kids of all ages!

Community Events
The Museum hosts festivals and community events throughout the year. Past events include Gloucester So Salty, The Gloucester Public Schools Arts Fest, Juneteenth, Brazilian Independence Day, Indigenous Heritage Celebration, and The Middle Street Walk.
