Gloucester Daily Times: City celebrates arts in schools

May 15, 2023

Saturday's weather cooperated and hundreds attended the Gloucester Education Foundation’s Student Arts Festival, the first since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Over the course of the afternoon, attendees had a chance to turn a wooden spoon, make a fish print, take in visual art displays, music performances, and other activities, and take in some treats from local food trucks.

All the events were free courtesy of sponsors Institution for Savings, BankGloucester, MAGMA, Cape Ann Museum, Cape Ann Art Haven, and  Gloucester400+.
