Creative Career Fair
Wednesday, March 2
3:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m.
Coordinated by the CAM Teen Arts Council
Downtown Campus, 27 Pleasant Street, Gloucester, MA
Free and open to the public.
Cape Ann is chalk full of professional creatives whose careers help make the communities they live in rich, beautiful, and exciting. Many of these creative careers are represented in the Cape Ann Museum's collections.
On March 2, join CAM's Teen Arts Council to learn about a variety of creative career paths, including careers at cultural institutions like the Cape Ann Museum, artistic careers represented by artists in CAM’s collection, and careers in the trades that build the world we live in. Local professionals from a variety of creative careers, including teaching artists, curators, sculptors, arts administrators, theater professionals, and more, will be stationed around the Museum's auditorium and atrium. They will be available to talk with students, families, and parents about their work and their career trajectories.
Applications for the 2022 Cohort of the CAM Teen Arts Council will open during the Creative Career Fair. Current TAC members will be in attendance to answer any questions about their experience in the 2021 Cohort.
