The White-Ellery House today
In on-going efforts to secure the envelope of the building and thus preserve fragile interior details, the White-Ellery House has recently undergone important stabilization work including installation of new clapboards and a new wood shingle roof. The Cape Ann Museum now looks forward to making much needed improvements to the structure's windows.
Funding for stabilization work on this important historic building has been provided, in part, by the Bruce J. Anderson Foundation, the Massachusetts Historical Commission and the City of Gloucester Community Preservation Act Funding Program.
