Mahlon Hoagland

1921 - 2009

Mahlon Hoagland, M.D. was born in Boston to Hudson and Anna Hoagland. He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1948 and for a time lived with designer Louise Kenyon and her family. Kenyon introduced Hoagland to the Folly Cove Designers and he worked with them for several years while commuting to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Hoagland later became director of the Worcester Foundation for Biomedical Research.
